Java Tutorial - Java Script :
Evaluation
All three databases support at least the bare minimum set of DDL and DML commands. In evaluating the databases, we are more interested in the extensions beyond the basic support. The more features beyond the basics that are
supported by the database, the more likely the database will be able to fulfill a role as an alternative to a more powerful enterprise database. Table 8.3 provides a quick comparison of some of the major feature differences between the database products. This comparison does not highlight the differences in structure between the
databases. It does show that each of these products has it own set of strengths and weaknesses. However, it is apparent that McKoi and HSqlDb have a far richer set of features than the set currently offered by Axion. This table provides us with all of the information that we need to make a selection. There is no need for further evaluation.
