Understanding the Scenario
Our goal in this chapter and in Chapter 14 is to provide a demonstration of the platform that is complete enough to exercise the platform’s features, while at the same time being simple enough to be clear and instructive. To do this, we will focus on a particular aspect of the Old Friends Incorporated example introduced in Chapter 3. As a reminder, Old Friends Incorporated is creating software to aid in planning class or group reunions. For our scenario, we note that all reunions involve people getting together. This implies a requirement to track those people who are interested in participating in the reunion or at least in keeping in touch with their classmates. This application will allow class members to register and provide contact information to share with other class members.
